Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival

The HBRFF - HOLLYWOOD BRAZILIAN FILM FESTIVAL is dedicated to promoting talents from Brazil's Cinema who contribute to transforming our culture. The festival sets itself apart from other events by embracing a unique program that represents the best of independent Brazilian cinema made in the past year.

The HBRFF was founded by Talize Sayegh in 2008, a dynamic film producer who is a reference in Los Angeles due to her experience in film festivals in Latin America, such as the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF) and the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival.

The festival takes place at the end of each year, offering screenings of feature films, shorts, and documentaries, as well as industry panels. Since 2014, HBRFF has awarded two prizes in each edition: the Rising Star Award and the Humanitarian Award. In total, approximately 25-35 films from different countries and in different languages, all related to Brazil, are screened yearly. Guests, filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and celebrities travel from various countries to be part of the event.
