Think Cinema Think Brazil Lab
Think Cinema Think Brazil Lab is a dynamic and strategic initiative by HBRFF, in partnership with SPCINE’s Affirmative Network, designed to bring Brazilian talent closer to the American film industry.
The Award
Each year, a fellow is awarded with a $15,000 O-1 visa process through Santos Lloyd Law Firm and an exclusive mentorship from the IAG Independent Artists Group.

Opening Night Gala
For the past three years, HBRFF offered a exclusive evening at the Academy® Museum to Brazil’s official entry for the Oscars®, including Gabriel Martins’ Mars One, Kleber Mendonça’s Pictures of Ghosts and Walter Salles’ I’m Still Here.
Careful curation of films
Annually, HBRFF brings together prominent figures of Brazilian cinema for screenings in Los Angeles, featuring films that have stood out at major international festivals, such as Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, and Venice.
